about.
For this school assignment, I developed a decorative pattern for wrapping paper, which combines the beauty of nature with colour and repetition.
challenge.
The basis was created from a handmade sketch, after which I digitized it in Adobe Illustrator. During the design process, I experimented with two different colour schemes so that I could evaluate the strengths of both versions side by side. The repetition and balance in the pattern had to be carefully tuned to form a harmonious whole.
results.
The mock-ups gave a realistic impression of the final product. The design looks airy and summery, and can be used as luxurious gift wrap, but also as a print for stationery or textiles. The result is a cheerful and playful design that harmoniously and naturally brings nature and colour together into one whole.
